We are taking you on a Myanmar adventure tour which will show you valuable and masterpiece heritages of this country. Right after being impressed by huge golden covered Shwedagon pagoda, we will get to another famous gold covered place – Golden Rock. The next stay will be Inle lake where you can explore local, ethnic villages. The world Heritage Bagan and Mandaly will be perfect choice to close the amazing adventure

Day 01: Yangon arrival (D)
Upon arrival at Yangon airport, you will be greeted for the hotel transfer. Enjoy your first visit in Yangon with a leisurely walk in Botataung, Ngatatgyi pagoda which features the holy pilgrimage sites with golden stupas, diamondized spires.
Enjoy your delightful dinner with cultural performance in Karaweik Palace.

Day 02: Yangon – Kyaiktiyo (Golden Rock) (B)
After breakfast, overland drive to Kyaingtiyo to go to the Golden Rock (driving hour about 4 hours). One the way, we visit to Htaukkyant War Cemetery. Then proceed to overland driving to Golden Rock. Arrive at pilgrim-village is a starting point to the famous Golden Rock. From our hotel in Kyaikhtiyo we first take a truck and then enjoy the trekking to Golden Rock, it will take about 1 hour up the hill to enjoy the sunset at the Golden Rock. The famous 'Golden Rock' is a sacred, massive gold-leafed boulder delicately balanced on the edge of a cliff near the top of Mt. Kyaingtiyo and it is one of the most revered Buddhist shrines. Lunch and dinner at local good restaurant. Overnight in Kyaingtiyo.

Day 03: Golden Rock – Bago – Yangon (B)
Early sunrise time, strolling around the hill sites for an unforgettable experience of Golden Rock then return to hotel for breakfast there. Continue your drive back to Yangon by coach. On the way, visit to Bago, located only 80 km, was an ancient capital of Mon Kingdom in 15th century and enjoy the Bago sightseeing including Shwethalyaung Reclining Buddha (55 metres long), Shwemawdaw Pagoda, Myo Ma Local Market, 28 meter high huge Buddha Image of Kyaikpun Pagoda, Chinese Kwanyin Temple and upon your interest, you can visit the Kanbawzathardi Palace of King Bayinnaung. Lunch at local good restaurant. Then drive back to Yangon Yangon on the way sightseeing at Allied War Memorial Cemetery.

Day 04: Yangon – Inle Lake (B) (Flight)
Embarking a flight to Heho for a drive to Pindaya in the morning. This mountainous area is famous for its cave which is full of Buddha statues. As you travel further into Shan state, you will encounter different ethnic minorities. Take a breathtaking walk to visit local villages, experience the way local people plan tea, rice, flowers... We then continue the trip with 2 hour drive to Nyang Shwe town. Start boarding the boat to do sightseeing in Inle Lake from stilt villages of silk weaving, black smith and boat making.  The sightseeing covers the cultural interaction with local people and the unique Jumping Cat pagoda. Relax by the lake when the sunset comes.

Day 05: Inle Lake - Indein - PaO villages (B)
Visit one of the most unique market on Inle lake which happens 5 days in different villages in Inlay area : the Indein market. There is no better chance to behold the scene of Pa-O, Padang tribes in their traditional dresses.
Our guide will offer you some visit to local habitat of Pa-O people in Indein.

Day 06: Inle Lake – Mandalay Royal Sightseeing (B) (Flight)
Embarking on a flight to Mandalay.  We will spend the full day discovering the ancient Royal Palace, known the last imperial kingdom of Burma, then visit Amarapura. Here we have a chance to uncover the glorious history of king Mindon in 1857. After that, we will learn about the biggest book in the word which is carved into 729 stupas in Kuthodaw pagoda. Visit Sandamuni, Atumashi. This afternoon, we will travel to Amarapura to discover the Maha Ganayon Kyaung lake and the nearby monastery. Enjoy a walk over U Bein bridge, the longest teak wood bridge in Myanmar.
The highlight of this day is the sunset time on the top of Mandalay Hill.

Day 07: Mandalay – Mingun – Sagaing – Inwa ( B)
Commence your day  with a board ride upstream to Mingun, home to Uncomplete Wall, Sandamuni pagoda and Mingun ringing bell. Our local expert will be pleased to introduce you the life of people who live on the banks of Irrawaddy river.
As the boat travel downstream, we will visit Sagaing Hill with its highlights: Buhhda University, Buddha Cave and viewing point where you can enjoy the panorama of Mandalay.
Free to visit Mandalay night market.

Day 08: Mandalay - Pyin Oo Lwin – Anisakan Fall – Bagan (B) (Flight)
Depart Mandalay for a scenic two hour drive to the former British hill station of Maymyo, now called Pyin Oo Lwin. Many reminders of the colonial era are still present in Pyin Oo Lwin, including brick and timber houses. Enjoy a traditional horse and carriage ride through the town and walk around the beautiful recently renovated Botanical Gardens. Visit the local market in the center of the town near to the clock tower. In the afternoon, take an excursion to the impressive Anisakan waterfalls, north of Pyin Oo Lwin. Return to Mandalay for a flight to Bagan.

Day 09: Bagan Heritage Tour (B)
Spend our full day discovering the old temples of Bagan. Our day begins with the visit to Nyang U market, the typical market of Bagan region with some interesting trading activities. After that, we will visit Shwezigon pagoda, the only golden spire in Bagan with unique architecture.
In the afternoon, we will visit the biggest temples of Bagan including Htilomino, Ananda pagoda. Indulge yourselves in the sunset cruise on Irrawaddy river.

Day 10: Bagan Temples and Local Life (B)
Today we your full day is to explore the other temples of Bagan which consists of more than 2500 temples and pagodas. This archaeological site brings us to the scared history of ancient Bagan capital with the development of Buddhism. As we travel further into the land of temple spires, Gawdamgangyi, and Manuha, Kaweyai villages. We continue to visit the lacquarware factory in the afternoon. The highlight of this day is the sunset from the second highest temple the Shwenandaw.

Day 11: Bagan – Yangon (B) (Flight)
Embarking a morning flight back to Yangon. Enjoy your orientation tour of Yangon with a walk from Sule pagoda to Strand Hotel where you will encounter numerous of British colonial buildings and Emmanual Church. You will have chance to observe the local life on Yangon river side.
In the afternoon, we will visit Chautatkhgyi pagoda, famed for the biggest reclining Buddha statue in Myanmar, followed by a pleasant walk in royal place where you will admire Karaweik Palace and the green park of Kandawgyi. Your highlight of this day is the visit to Shwedagon, the most outstanding pagoda, dominating the skyline of Yangon with a magical golden flash.

Rest on your own until the driver pick you up for the departure flight.

Best time to go this tour
Period for best enjoy: from October to February because this is the coolest time of the year. You can easily enjoy outdoor activities and sightseeing
Period for best value: remain time of the year when is considered as low season and you can enjoy discounts and offers. Please note:
From March to May is dry season. In semi-dessert areas such as Mandalay or Bagan, they can be very hot, but other higher areas such as Inle lake, weather is still cool and comfortable
From June to September is monsoon season. In coastal regions, like Yangon, and hilly places, such as Inle lake, you may be caught by heavy, sudden rains but in Mandalay or Bagan it hardy sees rainfall during this time

These trips are a relaxing break. You don't have to worry about doing anything physically demanding unless you want to.
Some easy physical activities included in your trip. No physical preparation is required to make the most of the journey.

Be prepared for some serious physical activity. The majority of activities included on this trip will be challenging. The fitter you are, the more you'll enjoy your holiday.
Our highest physical rating. Get ready for a heart-pumping adventure with plenty of challenges and some extreme conditions. You'll be required to be seriously fit for this trip as difficult activities are included.
For the trek on this trip the general rule is you will need to be very fit and the more preparation you have done for it, the more you will enjoy it. You will be walking with your day pack, with the possibility of extreme variations in temperature. We recommend that you undertake regular aerobic exercise in the months before you travel, particularly if you are not in the habit of regular exercise. Doing mountain walks or climbing long stair cases with a pack is good preparation (try putting a few bricks in your pack for real training). Walking, jogging, swimming or riding a bike are all good ways to increase your aerobic fitness, which will allow you to enjoy the trek to its fullest.

Meals introduction
While travelling with us you'll experience the vast array of wonderful food available in the world. To give you the maximum flexibility in deciding where, what and with whom to eat, generally not all meals are included in the trip price. This also gives you more budgeting flexibility. As a rule our groups tend to eat together to enable you to taste a larger variety of dishes and enjoy each other's company. There's no obligation to do this though.

Important notes
As tourism infrastructure is starting to develop, you may find the accommodation standards to be lower than in other Asian countries. Since Burma has recently become a popular tourist destination, pricing is also inflated due to demand, and at times our hotels can change as bookings are bumped by hotels charging a higher price to other travellers. Please be patient with any last minute hotel changes, and please be aware that often although the price of the accommodation is quite high due to demand, some hotel standards can be quite basic.

There is a company which operates hot air ballooning flights in Bagan. Such flights only take place around sunrise for about an hour and are entirely subject to suitable weather conditions, especially low wind conditions and good visibility. In the hotter times of the year, the number of passengers who can be carried within required safety parameters reduces considerably. It is not possible for us to make bookings for hot-air ballooning in advance of our arrival in Pagan. If any clients wish to make a booking at that time, we can then provide contact details for the ballooning company who can then advise if they have any vacancies for the following day. As at March 2013 the cost of such flights was about US$300. Such flights are not a part of any service offered by Peregrine and any participants will be required to sign indemnity releases provided by the ballooning company.

Passports and Visas 
It is each traveler's responsibility to have a passport valid for at least 6 months after the date of travel and a visa if required. Please check whether your nationality in Myanmar Visa exemption list, otherwise you do need to have your VISA done before going. Please check the information at our Myanmar Visa guide for specific. 

Cell Phones & Calling Cards 
You may wish to carry a cell phone while traveling. Check with your cell phone provider if your phone will work in the destination(s) you are visiting. Myanmar service is dominated by the GMS technology standard, while some of the world such as U.S uses the incompatible CDMA standard. We suggest that you should check carefully or you may incur high international roaming fees. 
However, the SIM card in Myanmar is not very popular and still quite expensive. You may need to check with your service providers for roaming fees when taking tours to Myanmar
When dialing a number from one country to another, you should proceed as follows: dial your country's Exit Code + destination Country Code + Phone Number. Country Code of Myanmar is 95
Wireless Internet Access 
Passengers traveling with WiFi enabled devices (such as a personal computer, smartphone, tablet, or digital audio player) may be able to connect to the internet via a wireless network access point (or hotspot). WiFi access in hotels and/or cruise lines often involves a fee which, in some cases, can be very expensive. 
Please ask your hotel receptionist to avoid unexpected charges.
Credit Card Usages and Currency 
Myanmar’s national currency, the kyat (pronounced chat, and abbreviated K) is divided into the following banknotes: K1, K5, K10, K20, K50, K100, K200, K500 and K1000. Travellers should ensure they arrive in Myanmar with their entire travel budget in US dollars, as ATMs are still very hard to come by (although this may change)
For credit/debit cards, surprised tourists in Yangon found themselves helpless when trying to use them. However, a couple of high-end hotels in Yangon and Mandalay are able to accept credit cards, and sometimes give cash back. This is done via a processing system linked outside the country, Singapore or Vietnam, and is at the mercy of internet connections
Trip Preparation 
A little pre-planning can make your trip go a lot smoother. Several weeks before your trip, make a list of what you will need to take with you. Make sure your personal documents (passports, visas, driver’s license) are in order and that you have enough prescription medications to last through the trip. We suggest that you make photocopies of passports, visas, personal ID and any other important travel documents and pack them separately from the originals. Pack a list of medications including dosage and generic names. 
If you lose the originals while traveling, you'll have copies for easier reporting and replacement. You may consider bringing a small supply of over the counter medications for headaches and/or anti-diarrhea pills. We recommend that you pack a portable alarm clock. Avoid placing valuables such as cameras in your checked luggage.
